This necklace was created symbolically for the festival of Imbolc, which represents new beginnings, inner movement, and the gentle transition from winter into spring. It carries the archetyp of the goddess Brigid (later Saint Brigid), the patroness of fire, healing, creativity, poetry, and smithcraft. Her energy is closely connected to the inner flame that is ignited quietly, yet has the power to lead to profound change. The central element of the necklace is a golden fiery heart, symbolizing the first spark, inner strength, and the ability to heal old wounds. The heart does not represent romance, but rather inner light, courage, and the renewal of the heart chakra. The entire piece is designed to reflect inner feminine strength—the ability to step onto new paths, begin new projects, and trust one's own rhythm. The minerals and symbols used were chosen with intention. Citrine supports confidence, success, and creative energy, while aventurine is associated with luck, balance, and gentle support of the heart chakra. Pearls and mother-of-pearl symbolize healing, femininity, and wisdom gained through time. Golden lava stone carries the energy of fire and transformation, and the spiral represents the cyclical nature of life and the journey back to oneself. A protective meaning is also carried by the pentagram, an ancient symbol of balance and protection, often misunderstood but deeply rooted in natural symbolism. Decorative elements such as leaves, roses, stars, and fiery teardrops reference the awakening of nature, sparks of new life, and the blooming of spring. The bow symbolizes the binding of intention, protection, and the feminine principle, loosely drawing from traditions of ribbons and sashes associated with Brigid and the festival of Imbolc.
The necklace measures approximately 38–43 cm in length and can be shortened or extended if needed. The base material is surgical stainless steel, with some charms made from costume jewelry components.
